Oil a Dis an Oil a Dat

In a year when we are charged to predict and manifest our own lives we need all the help that is available to us.  As we start writing on the new slate we have acquired in 2026 let us continue the quest towards higher vibration, transformation and transcendence.  Let us examine the earthly purpose of our mind, body, spirit complex and draw on some of the powerful aspects of God’s creation to foster our success in the achievement of this purpose.

 Oils have been a part of human living since as far back as the early start of time.  With many and varied practical uses to do with construction, lighting, heating, preservation, etc. oils are also associated with spiritual properties like protection, illumination, healing, preservation and even immortality.  While major conversations on or about oil have focused it primarily as industrial fuels in the space of energy and geopolitics we are aware that there is so much more to that.  Our ancestors knew and some of us now know, that everything that God has put on the earth is for the benefit of our mind, body, spirit and overall learning, growth and enlightenment.  

As we begin the journey in this new year numbered 2026, let us invite ourselves into God’s pharmacy to see how we may use nature in yet another of its manifestations to help ourselves to fulfill our purpose on this earth space.  Let us engage with ancestral wisdom about oils as a powerful step into our spiritual awakening and understanding of our natural, energetic relationship with nature. Let us gather to share some ancient teachings around spiritual baths and bathing and see how powerful collaboration among the sacred energies of the water, oils, plants and our spirit may guide us into spiritual, physical and mental wholeness and balance.
