Sun Space

The Sun space was created in response to the need for men of all ages, creed, and class to come together in a structured way, guided by spirit, to understand and express themselves emotionally, spiritually, intellectually, and professionally.   Spirituality is an integral current within aspect of Jamaica’s cultural expression and so an understanding of spirituality, as it pertains to the Divine Masculine, is pertinent to the understanding of self, as it relates to the kind and nature of men we want to evolve.  

In the emotional sense of things, we have come to realize that as men, we have major issues, including but not limited to, the expressing of our emotions. Some of us as men have come to the misguided notion, due to societal influences, that the healthy expression of certain emotions like love, understanding, and compassion are not acceptable from us and are feminine in nature, therefore making us ‘weak’. 

In the Sun space we take an in-depth look at how we limit ourselves mentally and physically by not properly empowereing ourselves spiritualy.  This space allows us to take the responsibility to  remove our unneeded boundaries/limitations and, through structured discussions, soul talk,  rigorous self reflection seasoned with a whole bundle of love, more than a dash of humour, a flow of tears, a dab of pain, co-create the man self we want to be.  The sunspace is a place where boys become men, men become leaders, and leaders become role models.

This is a tender place we will share from it as best we can.
